The city budget determines what gets funded for the next year and the parks need our help.

The draft city budget REJECTS Parks Commission requests for:

  • A dedicated annual playground maintenance budget

  • An additional parks Maintenance Worker

  • Fixes for ongoing issues at the Lindberg Park playground

Our parks fall apart and it sometimes takes years for them to be fixed because maintenance funds and staff are not built into the annual city budget.

This is a broken process.
