Support CCUSD funding with one click!
The Culver City Unified School District, like many others across California, faces a serious financial crisis driven by reduced state and federal funding, the end of pandemic relief funds, lower enrollment, and other factors.
Raising funds from all available sources is the only way to maintain our programs and the quality of education we expect and deserve from our schools. Here are some simple things you can do to help:
1. Support a Culver City Parcel Tax

Weโre helping collect signatures for a local Nov 2026 Ballot measure to provide long-term stable funding for Culver City schools. The Parcel Tax will raise $18 million every year for Culver City schools, ending our deficits and creating new opportunities for programs and services for our kids.
2. Collect signatures from friends and neighbors in Culver City

Parents and supporters of our schools can help get the measure on the ballot. If we donโt collect enough signatures on this Citizenโs Initiative, voters in November wonโt be able to vote on this parcel tax. Any other ballot measures to fund schools will have significantly higher thresholds for passage.
3. Send a message to Gov. Newsom and our elected representatives

Weโre asking our State Legislature to release all K-12 education funds to school districts now, as mandated by the state constitution. Our State budget process is lengthy and complex, but our needs are clear and funding for schools is mandated by Prop 98. Letโs demand our representatives follow through on State commitments for school funding.
