Our Culver Endorses Triston Ezidore, Brian Guerrero and Stephanie Loredo for Culver City School Board

Our Culver is pleased to endorse School Board incumbents Triston Ezidore, Brian Guerrero and Stephanie Loredo. Since their election in 2022, they have worked effectively as a team to guide the district through a difficult period of post-Covid recovery, administrative turnover, and ongoing financial challenges. Together, they helped pass Measure E, the $385 million facilities bond that will bring upgrades to every campus and address deferred maintenance needs, and they obtained a $2.5 million grant from the city to bolster the district’s reserves.

These three candidates bring a diverse set of perspectives to their work. A hallmark of their collective leadership has been their concentration on improving academic outcomes and advancing equity. Triston knows our schools intimately as a graduate of Culver City High. He helped lead the Black Student Achievement Plan, focusing on gaps in math and reading. He has championed student mental health, expanding access to counseling social-emotional support. Brian is a career educator and education policy analyst. He brings a focus on inclusion for all students, especially those with disabilities and English-learners, and an emphasis on data and measurable outcomes. He is also a champion for CCUSD’s arts programs, whose excellence make our district so distinctive. Stephanie has focused on building and strengthening a culture of care throughout the district while emphasizing the importance of strong fiscal management. She has celebrated the valuable diversity represented in our schools and elevated the significance of cultural appreciation for our scholars. Stephanie has been a consistent advocate for wellness and safety for students, including those who walk, bike and ride the bus to school.

Ezidore, Guerrero and Loredo are all endorsed by Mayor Freddy Puza and Vice Mayor Bubba Fish, as well as by the Culver City Democratic Club and many elected officials and community members.
